As part of the SCCG’s #PLAYGREEN initiative this year, the club kicked off it’s activities for the year to promote sustainability in Cricket in Austrian and Slovenian regions. The first activity happened in the recently organized ACA GRAZ 100 tournament held at Ballpark Graz on 29.04 – 01.05.2024.
The SCCG donated a sustainability kit containing a solar powered outdoor light with motion sensors and also hooks with adhesive for separate trash bags in the dug out. Though more was planned, due to limitations in club budget, at this point of time, only these items were delivered to Mr. Pawan Kohli, chairman of the Ballpark Graz cricket ground (picture). The signboard used for the picture iis made from recycled paper and cardboard.
