The SCCG played Graz Tigers in their first match of the ACA100Graz tournament (Graz 100) at Ballpark Graz on 29.04.2023.
Winning the toss, SCCG opted to bat first. Openers captain Vikram and debutant Chandan started the innings beautifully at a consistent pace. Others followed, Karthik, Amit, walid, Gurudas (DaDa) and pratik added up their valuable runs and SCCG managed a decent total of 111/8 in 100 balls.
Bowling from SCCG was very planned, with top bowler Shirzad and Amit starting their spell beautifully, with the only runs coming not from the bats of the Tigers batsmen. Harun also spectacularly maintained line and length, making it difficult to score runs for the opponents. Spinners Karthik Vikram and Walid also bedazzled batsmen with Good bowling.
Overall, great fielding by walid, hasaan, pradeep and pratik limited the Tigers to a a total of 92/9 at the end of their 100 balls. The SCCG had won by 19 runs. Off field support from AK, shivanand, nomi and susheel was also encouraging for the SCCG team.
SCCG will play GCA and ASCC in two consecutive games today at ballpark graz.
