SCCG and BCCS each get 2 points on the league table
The second game of the SCCG in the ACA T20 Division 2 league of 2022 was abandoned due to bad weather. The team reached the beautiful ground at Latschach- Velden am Worthersee, only to find consistent rain.
The umpires made a call to abandon the game after waiting an hour after the game was supposed to begin, and rain had not yet stopped. Both captains shook hands in agreement that there was no chance even to shorten the total overs and play the game even if the rain went away.
Both SCCG and BCCS get two points on the table, from which SCCG now has a tally of 7 points and retained the 3rd position on the table for now and BCCS opened their account with 2 points.
The SCCG will play their 3rd game of the 2022 season against ADCC on saturday afternoon at Ballpark Graz. We welcome all members and well wishers to the game.
