SCCG®: Play Green, Play for our Future

On 14/06/2020, the SCCG played two friendly 15 over matches against Steiermark Cricket Club (STCC). The matches were conducted at the Ballpark Graz cricket ground. The STCC won both the played matches with a considerable fight from the SCCG.

On 21/06/2020, the SCCG travelled to Mezica, Slovenia for two t20 friendlies with the Mezica Cricket Club at the Prevalijk ground. The SCCG won both of the two t20 matches, even with rain threatening to interrupt play later in the evening. Some pictures from the event are shared below.

On 27.06.2020, the SCCG traveled to Mezica, Slovenia once more, and played several (three) friendly 15 over matches again with various teams from Slovenia. A great initiative by the Mezica Cricket Club, to gather various teams and play a friendly tournament. The SCCG won two games (Kriket Klub Kranj and Babarijans) out of the three games they played with a comfortable margin on a 32°C day, though the hosts managed to stop the SCCG’s successful run in the third game.

On 28.06.2020, the SCCG played two games with the Graz Cricket Academy. The SCCG was not successful in defending their posted total in both matches. However, cricket was played with good spirits and great sportsmanship was displayed by both the teams.
