The cricket club SCCG successfully defended a small total of 91 runs with some exceptional bowling from the seamers

After playing in the Slovenian League for over three seasons, the SCCG have finally an official league title. With some close calls in the last few years, the SCCG always placed among the top four in the Slovenian league. This year, after several exceptional performances from the team, the club managed to remain undefeated through out the league matches and eventually had to play Skofja Loka, a top club in Slovenia in the Slovenian league finals.

In front of the disciplined and fierce bowling from Loka bowlers, the SCCG batsmen could only put up 91, only possible because of some great batting from Hasan (42 runs) and short stays by a few SCCG batsmen.

What looked to be an easy win for Skofja Loka, eventually turned into dissappointment, because of several fiery spells from Adil, Hasan and Atef. Also, other than a few missed chances, the fielding from SCCG players also pressurized the Loka batsmen. Only Shoaib, who even bagged 4 SCCG wickets, managed to stay unbeaten at 31 from 31 balls. Eventually by the end of the 18 th over, Skofja Loka was bowled out for 80 runs with a five-for by Adil (5-13) and three-for by Hasan (3-34).

After a nice presentation ceremony conducted by the league officials and the home (Skofja Loka) team, the SCCG captain Adil lifted the Slovenian League trophy for the first time ever.
