According to regulations BGBL II/111/2021 § 9 and § 15, the SCCG administration has set up a protocol with regulations immediately in effect for safeguards against COVID-19 during practice sessions, matches, traveling and events. Every member of SCCG participating in activities are requested to take personal responsibility to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the protocol.
Let us be socially responsible while actively participating in activities, and defeat the pandemic!
The SCCG COVID-19 Protocol is as follows:
- This protocol has to be strictly followed by every club member participating in Practice/ matches / events, until further notice.
- DO NOT attend practice, matches or events if you or a person in your household/close vicinity has COVID-19 symptoms.
- 2G/2.5G : Vaccination report, Recovered report (valid), PCR test is considered valid and is a must for activities on the cricket field
- Rapid Antigen-Test, not older than 48 hours or PCR test not older than 72 hours for ALL is a must for practice/matches/events.
- The SCCG COVID -19 manager will be the contact person for all COVID-19 related issues, also with access to all the negative test results of the club members participating in practice/matches/events.
- Every club members playing at practice/matches/events must be willing to give their contact data for the sake of contact tracing, if and when necessary.
- Each club member must follow the general COVID-19 protective measures – including the ones prescribed at the venue.
- Each club member participating in practice/matches/events must wear a FFP2 face mask covering both their nose and mouth at all times when not on the playing field during a match/practice.
- It is each and everyone’s individual responsibility to maintain social distance (~2m) from others all the time.
- Social distancing is also important and applicable during team huddles and discussions. No high fives, handshakes etc.
- DO NOT share equipment between players unless properly sanitized between each use. Wash and sanitize hands throughout the day whenever possible and during each break.
- DO NOT use spit to shine the ball (excluding sweat).
- Refrain from leaving your group and interact sparsely with people outside your group (also off-field).
