Borut Čegovnik is thought of as the one who brought Cricket to Slovenia in 1974 as a 13 year old back from his trip to the UK. Since then, Borut has been actively leading, organizing and participating in cricketing activities in Slovenia, with the Mezica Cricket Club.

Ayyaz AHMED
Ayyaz Ahmed is a well known cricketer who actively takes part in cricketing activities in both Slovenia and Austria, and is also involved with organizing official cricketing events in Slovenia. He is one of the mainstays of the Ljubjana Cricket Club line up, leading from the front on several occassions.

Shah Ashtiaq
Shah has represented the Graz Cricket Club as a player, leading their team on a number of occassions. He has also played for the SCCG for a while during 2016-17. He actively takes part in the organization and management of cricketing activities at Ballpark Graz.
